Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Abuja, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, and his wife, Modele, have reportedly hired a controversial broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze to help them clear the air over rape and sexual abuse allegations levelled against the church leader.

The senior pastor has come under heavy criticism after a professional photographer Mrs Busola Dakolo accused him of raping her thrice some years ago.

However, Daddy Freeze set up an online poll asking Nigerians to vote in whether he should conduct the interview.

Out of over 1000 respondents, 86% said Yes while

Busola filed a formal complaint with the Nigeria Police few days after some NGOs organised public protests at the church’s locations in Lagos and Abuja.

The pastor announced he was stepping down to allow COZA elders to handle the matter even though he had signed innocence.

Some days after the protest, Daddy Freeze cautioned a blogger, Japheth Omojuwa, on Twitter for alleging that a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, was defending the pastor for pecuniary considerations.

In a tweet seen by Metrostarng, the OAP advised Omojuwa to drop that line of thought.

Some other women have also laid similar charges against Fatoyinbo.
