Krygyzstan: Outrage as mob kills Nigerian lecturer

Outrage is sweeping through social media over the killing of a Nigerian lecturer, Aliyu Tijjani, by a mob in Krygyzstan, a former Soviet republic..

He was reportedly dragged out of a convenience store in the capital, Bishkek, on Wednesday and beaten heavily.

Medics rushed to scene and tried to save him after he had lost so much blood.

He died two days later, leaving behind a ykung wife and children.

He was an English lecturer and proprietor of Cambridge school in the capital.

Members of his family and incensed Nigerians have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to demand explanations from the government in the killing of the Nigerian .

They have raised a hashtag #JusticeforAliyuTijjani to demand an investigation and prosecution of the culprits.

There has been no word from Buhari or any member of his administration, including his Diaspora aide, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

The killings of Nigerians in foreign countries has become a major source of worry.
