Female activists under the aegis of the #Churchtoomovement have scheduled a protest march to the headquarters of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly in Abuja for Sunday.
In a notice placed on Facebook by the Women Advocates Research and Documentation Centre, the activists said they would converge on NNPC filling station at Guzape in Abuja and march from there to COZA headquarters.
They urged members of the public to join them by 8am to protest against alleged sexual abuse by pastors.
The planned protest comes amid allegations made in a video interview by a professional photographer and wife of artiste Timi Dakolo, Mrs. Busola Dakolo, in which she accused the Global Pastor of COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, of disvirgining her at 17 and Ealing her twice thereafter.
Fatoyinbo has swiftly come out to deny the allegations and threatened to she for criminal defamation.
Supporters of the flamboyant pastor have denounced Timi Dakolo and his wife as blackmailed seeking to run down the church.
Some said Timi and Busola as choir director and chorister respectively in the church were engaged in an iillicit affair that produced two children out of wedlock before they were forced to legalise their union.
They argued that the allegations were part of a scheme by desperate people to defraud the church and its pastor.
