Nigeria Immigration Service on Wednesday unveiled a web-based visa service for foreigners coming into the country.
This was contained in a statement.
It reads: “NIS UNVEILS WEB-BASED VISA ON ARRIVAL PLATFORM
1.This is to notify the public that we have migrated to a Web-Based Visa on Arrival facility platform effective 13th May 2019. Prior to this, applicants for Visa on Arrival were required to forward applications via a dedicated email.
“2. address or hard copy to the Comptroller General for approval. With the Web-Based regime,applicants are only required to log on to https://t.co/tuqTo62m70, where they can apply for the facility, make payments&receive approvals online. It is fully automated and user-friendly.
“3. The Comptroller General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, MFR hereby calls on genuine investors to take advantage of the innovation as it will improve migration as well as transparency in the system in line with Federal Government’s policy on Ease of Doing Business.”
