Nigeria Copyright Commission gets new DG

The Nigerian government has appointed John Asein, a copyright lawyer as the director general of the Nigeria Copyright Commission. This is about the first time in decades that an in-house expert would be appointed to head the Commission. The practice had always been to import the head from outside of the Commission.
