Togolese cook who killed his boss is dead


A Togolese cook, Sunday Adefonou Anani, who killed his murdered his boss Chairman of Credit Switch Technology, Opeyemi Badamosi, is dead.
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed.
The late suspect, who stabbed his boss to death with a kitchen knife, was charged with one count of murder. The murder was committed on October 31, 2018, at Badamosi’s residence at 3b, Onikoyi Lane, Parkview Estate Ikoyi Lagos.

The deceased was ordered to be remanded in prison by a Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on November 12 and the case was adjourned till December 18.
Chief Magistrate Mrs O.O Oshin of the Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in her ruling said, “In view of the remand application of murder, the defendant is remanded in prison custody in the first instance, of 30 days under sections 115 and 264 of the administration of criminal justice law 2015, pending the legal advice from the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution DPP.”
