Former Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc. and Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State, Alex Otti yesterday visited Abia traders resident in Lagos at Tejuosho Market.
Otti who was accompanied by his wife Priscillia; deputy, Uche Eme; senatorial candidate, MacDonald Okezie Ubah and other top political leaders in the state, assured the traders that if elected, his administration would provide friendly environment and policies that would ensure their businesses thrive and pleaded with the traders to join forces with him to collectively defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in February 2019, and move the state to its desired height.
Otti, who claims his victory at the polls was stolen in 2015, said he has returned to the race to restore Abia to the path of growth and socio-economic development. While urging voters to stand by their votes in order not to allow the electoral robbery of 2015 repeat itself, he promised free buses to convey those travelling for yuletide as well as those who are interested in travelling for the elections.
In his response, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Tejuosho Market, Pius Uzokwe said the placement of respected and upright men and women in positions of political leadership would help salvage crisis and economic hardship across the country.
