Pinnick gets second term as NFF president

Nigeria Football Federation Pesident, Amaju Pinnick, got a second term on Thursday at the football body’s election in Katsina, beating his three opponents by a wide margin.

Pinnick garnered 34 votes to beat Aminu Maigai (8), Taiwo Ogunjobi (2) and Chinedu Okoye (0) to win the election conducted by the NFF electoral committee.

He promised to focus on youth soccer development during his second term.

He is the first Nigerian to get a second term as president of the football body since it was formed in 1949.
