There is palpable fear among supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari over looming loss of influence ad the All Progressives Congress holds its ward and state congresses this weekend.
Across many states, Buhari’s supporters accused governors and ministers of allegedly manipulating the processes.
They expressed fears that Buhari’s supporters were being targeted for exclusion from the process.
In Adamawa State, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and his predecessor, Babachir Lawal, accused Governor Mohammed Bindow of using stste might to edge his opponents out of the process.
In fact, the governor and one of his predecessors, Murtala Nyako, have fallen apart over the issue.
