Senator Dino Melaye (APC, Kogi West) on Tuesday said he would make himself available to the police.
This follows a siege on his house by policemen overnight Monday.
Policemen also blocked his street and prevented vehicles from accessing the thoroughfare.
The senator who had been declared wanted since last month for alleged gunrunning was prevented from travelling to Morocco on Monday after immigration officials said it was based on a request from the Nigeria Police.
On Tuesday morning, he tweeted: ” I will make myself available to the police today. My resolve to speak the truth and defend the poor masses of NIGERIA is Total. We shall overcome!!!”
He added: “A man without arm, no security yet you mobilise 150 policemen to invite him. And those who committed Treason are free. We shall not be intimidated or cowed. Struggle continues.”
He had earlier tweeted that two of his brothers were arrested at the gate of his house but that could not be independently verified.
