Protests as Buhari arrives London

Protesters on Tuesday stormed Abuja House in Kensington, London to protest the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari on a private visit.

Buhari began a month-long vacation in London on April 10, 2018, days ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

He is believed to have travelled to London to see his doctors for an evaluation of his medical situation.

Buhari secretly declared his decision to seek a second term at a meeting of the All Progressives Congress National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja n Monday and thereafter travelled to London.

The protesters blamed Buhari for the ills of the nation and lamented that he had done nothing to curb killings by Fulani herdsmen.

They also vowed to sustain their protests and move the venue to the CHOGM.
