Four explosions rocked Muna Garage suburb of Maiduguri. The Borno State capital on Friday night.
Reports attributed it to the handiwork of four suicide bombers, who detonated improvised explosives simultaneously.
The first explosion was heard around 9pm, residents said.
It could not be ascertained if the explosions killed or injured anyone as the people of the area were observing a curfew due to attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.
Security agents combed the suburb for more suicide bombers even as they cordoned off the scenes of the blasts.
