Resident doctors suspend strike

Striking resident doctors early on Thursday suspended their indefinite strike.

They, however, said they would review their position in two weeks.

Chairman, National Association of Resident Doctors UCH chapter, Segun Olaopa, who anmouncd the decision, said it was in response to calls by well-meaning Nigerians for them to give government more time to meet their demands.

The Federal Government had earlier said it had met most of the doctors’ demands.
