Osinbajo Commissions Projects In Zamfara

The Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday, commissioned 52-kilometer federal road linking Gummi, Sokoto and Kebbi, reconstructed by Zamfara State government at the cost of over N7.5billion.
Mr.Osinbajo who commended Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar for his foresight in complementing federal government’s efforts in the construction of the roads, said the facility will boost the economy by providing a link between the rural and urban communities.
He observed that “Despite the current economic challenges, the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has been delivering in accordance with our electioneering promises of bringing positive change to the country,” he said.
Mr. Osinbajo observed that the projects executed by Governor Abdulaziz Yari was a testimony of a deep commitment to not only rehabilitate the economic and social condition of the youth, but to also develop a sound foundation for their future aspirations.
In his address, Governor Abdulaziz Yari announced that “the projects we are commissioning today, is one of the fulfillments of the APC campaign promises during the electioneering campaigns, when we promised to execute projects for the betterment of our people.”
