Nigeria’s Problem Started With PDP – Abubakar

Former deputy governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Alhaji Usman Abubakar (a.k.a Young Alhaji) has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the first child of the Nigerian Democracy, having been the party in power at the inception of the 4th Republic in 1999.
Young Alhaji also attributed most of the challenges facing the country to the hitherto ruling PDP and blamed past leaders of running selfish and self-centered government, which was greatly responsible for the many woes of the nation.
Abubakar who was addressing Benue stakeholders at the thanksgiving reception in honour of Hon. Chris Adaba Abba (Mad Lion), in Otukpa, at the weekend, also said, the solution to Nigeria’s problem, however, lies with the PDP.
He said, “PDP is the first child of Nigeria’s democracy in the 4th republic, they are responsible for some of the challenges in the country and it will take only PDP to end them,” he said.
The three-time senatorial candidate for Benue South also lambasted the ruling APC for crippling growth and development in Benue State.
On his part, former minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro who represented former Senate President, David Mark, called for unity, synergy and mutual trust among the leaders in Benue State, saying, development could only come to the area when people are united.
The celebrant, Abba, used the event to appreciate his political associates and teeming allies for their continuous support and tasked the leaders to be honest and sincere in their dealings.
