Police Parade 4 Kidnap Suspects, 2 Cultists

The Nigeria Police has paraded a gang of four kidnap suspects and two cultists for kidnapping, armed robbery and cultism in Rivers and other States in the South-South zone.
Parading the suspects yesterday in Abuja, force public relations officer CSP Jimoh Moshood said the IGP’s monitoring team raided a kidnappers hideout at Umuike Allu on March 20 and 23,2017 and rescued the victim and arrested the criminals.
Moshood said the team arrested            Michael Obi, Kelechi Ndukwu,Ifeanyi Ezechukwu and Chinedu Amadi and recovered arms and ammunitions.
He stated that the team received one locally made revolver, one live ammunition, one expended ammunition, one locally made pistol, four live cartridges, one expended cartridge and N200,000 ransom.
He disclosed that the suspects have been identified by their victims and will be charged to court when investigation into the matter is completed.
In the same vein, the team in collaboration with other units of the force had on March,2017 clampeddown on a confraternity group’s hideout in Ebitanwo/Rumuakude Communities and arrested two for cult activities.
Moshood added that the two members of the gang John Oteh, Atochi Oteh were picked with items One  Military Lar Rifle No. 770786,One locally made double barrel gun, Two locally made single barrel cut-to size guns, One (1) locally made pistol, Seven cartridges, One expended cartridge recovered from them.
