PMB Has Successfully Tackled Insurgency, Says Tambuwal

Barely half -term into the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari’s- led administration, the worrisome degree of insurgency has been successfully tackled, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has divulged.
Tambuwal, who is the governor of Sokoto State spoke yesterday while declaring open a 4 Days workshop for all the 23 local government councillors, directors of personnel, finance, agriculture and social developments.
While admitting that the workshop could not have come at a better time than now when Nigeria is being faced with economic realities, Tambuwal insisted that agriculture remained the most reliable alternative.
“I commend the Ministry for Local Government and Community Development for brining the people at the grassroots together for deliberations, especially now that the nation is grabbing with the challenges of how best to divert the economy”.
Tambuwal who urged the local governments to be more proactive aassured that they are equally channeling their resources towards agriculture which according to him is very strategic to their development.
The governor admitted further that the state government is a frontline beneficiary of federal government’s agricultural support programmes.
