Foundation Pays NECO/SSCE Fees For 600 Students In Edo

A total of 600 students from Esan South- East and Esan North- East Federal constituency in Edo State participating in the May/June 2017, NECO/SSCE weekend secured sponsorship in the form of payment of their enrolment fee from the Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation (SOOF).
Each of the successful student receive the sum of N15,00 to enable them enrol for the examination even as eight undergraduates equally secured a scholarship grant of N100,000 each just as the overall best six candidates in the 2016/2017 SOOF Free NECO/SSCE enrolment Mock exam were granted scholarship to any university of their choice in Nigeria.
In all the Foundation gave a total of N9 million to the lucky   students to enable them pursue their dreams of being educated.
Speaking at the event which took place at the Community Primary School Ubiaja, the President of the Foundation and member representing Esan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon.( Barr.) Deacon Sergius Ogun, called on all beneficiaries to make good use of the cash grants, adding that the greatest investment needed to revamp the economy of the country is education.
He encouraged the students to stay focus on their academic pursuit, which according to him, is the greatest gift to excel in life.
